Does having the shop mean I am selling?
No, and whoever tells you otherwise is selling you smoke. The shop closes the sale; it does not bring it in. What does change in the first month is that you stop losing the sale you already had: the person who wrote to you at eleven at night buys without waiting for you, the one who asked the price sees it without writing to you, and the one who was going to pay by Yape no longer needs you to send the account number. For bringing in new people there is
marketing work, which is a separate service and is quoted separately.
Is it any use to me if I still close 90% of my sales on WhatsApp?
It serves you more, not less. The shop becomes your catalogue: instead of sending ten photos and repeating prices, you send a link. The customer builds their cart, chooses their district, sees the shipping cost and pays; what reaches you is a complete order, with the address written by them and the stock already deducted. And if you also use
Waya, that link goes out from your own number with an automatic reply.
How is delivery worked out for outside Lima or by district?
You define zones and you give each one its rate: Metropolitan Lima by district, Lima provinces, coast, highlands and jungle. You can charge flat by zone, by weight or by order amount, and set free shipping from the total you decide. The customer sees the cost at the checkout, before being asked for the card: that detail is the number one cause of abandoned carts that Baymard measures.
And if the customer wants to pay on delivery?
It is switched on, but bounded: only in the zones you choose and with an amount cap, so that nobody asks for it from the other side of the country on a small order. It can be combined with click and collect, which comes with no shipping cost and tends to be the favourite of whoever lives nearby.
Can I launch coupons and promotions myself?
Yes, from the panel and without calling us: a coupon by percentage or by amount, a first-purchase coupon, 2-for-1, a discount by category, a struck-through price, free shipping above a minimum and a wholesale price list. Each one with a start date, an end date and a usage cap, so that the campaign switches itself off when it reaches the limit instead of you having to watch it.
My trade needs unusual data. Can fields be added?
That is what custom fields are for: delivery date and time slot, gift message, car number plate, made to measure, purchase order number, uploading an artwork file. They go on the checkout, on the product or on the customer, and they appear on the order, in the email and in the Excel export. That said, at the kick-off meeting we review which ones you truly need: every extra field costs the checkout sales.
Does the online shop's stock come off the stock at my premises?
If your on-premises system has an API, webhooks or a scheduled export, yes: it is one single inventory and whatever sells at the counter stops being offered on the web in the moment. If your system has none of the three, we tell you before quoting. And if you do not use one at all, the shop itself keeps the inventory, with several warehouses if you need them.
Does it connect to my invoicing system or do I have to issue by hand?
It connects. With
Fastura the integration is already done because the invoicing system is ours: the paid order goes out as a receipt or an invoice with the national ID or the tax ID from the checkout, and the customer receives the PDF and the XML in the same email. If you already work with Nubefact, Bizlinks, Defontana or Contasis, we connect to their API. In Colombia, the same before the DIAN with your technology provider.
Can I take payment with Yape and Plin?
Yes, and it is one of the first things we switch on: almost six out of ten digital transactions in Peru are already made with a wallet. They are integrated through their gateway or with payment confirmation, according to your volume and which provider you hold a contract with. The order is confirmed when the payment is verified, not before.
Do you get me the payment gateway? How much does it charge?
We go with you, but the contract is yours with Culqi, Izipay, Niubiz or whoever you choose: they assess your business and set your commission, which in the Peruvian market moves around 3.4% to 4% plus VAT. We tell you which one suits according to what you sell and your average basket, we leave the integration connected and we make a real test purchase before delivery.
Is there a product limit? Can I upload them myself?
There is no limit per plan, because we do not sell plans: the shop is yours and it runs on your hosting. You upload products one by one or 400 at once from an Excel file with their variants and their photos. You change prices and switch on offers without calling us, and the training stays recorded for whoever joins your team later.
Is the shop mine? Do I get the code and the logins?
Yes. The domain stays in your name, the code is yours and you receive every login: panel, hosting, email, database and repository. If one day you leave for another provider, you take everything and there is no need to ask us for permission. That is the difference from renting a closed platform, where you take the data but not the shop.
How much does it cost and what will you charge me later?
The build depends on the catalogue, on the gateways you switch on and on whether it has to be connected to a system you already use; that is why we do not publish a price. What we do state from the proposal onwards is the recurring cost: the annual domain renewal and the
hosting, and the monthly maintenance if you take it. We do not charge a commission per sale or a subscription to the platform. Fill in the brief and within 48 hours you have the closed amount and what falls outside it.
How long does it take to have the shop open?
A shop with up to 50 products, 15 business days. A standard one with up to 500 with variants, 25. A large one with multiple warehouses or a connection to your system, from 40. The clock starts once we have the photos, the product list with prices and the approved design.
Do I need a tax ID? Is the virtual complaints book compulsory?
In order to issue documents you do need a tax ID, and the virtual complaints book is compulsory for every business selling to the end consumer in Peru (Law 29571 and its regulations). It goes installed and linked in your shop's footer from day one, along with the terms and the privacy policy. We are not your lawyer: you review the legal text with whoever advises you; we leave the mechanism working.
I already have a shop built. Can you improve it or do we have to start from scratch?
It depends what it is built on. If it is WooCommerce or WordPress, it can almost always be rescued: we fix speed, checkout and invoicing without throwing away your catalogue. If it is on a closed platform, we migrate products, customers and orders, and we set up the 301 redirects so as not to lose what you already have in Google. That adds around 7 business days.
Can I sell abroad?
Yes. PayPal or Stripe are switched on in order to charge in dollars, an international shipping zone with its rate is defined and the shop can be shown in two languages. Bear in mind that the electronic receipt is a Peruvian requirement: for sales abroad we define the document that corresponds with your accountant.
What about returns and credit notes?
From the panel you void or refund the order and the credit note is filed with SUNAT, linked to the original document. The stock adds itself back by itself. If the return is partial, the note is issued for the amount that corresponds, not for the total.
Can the shop handle a campaign like Cyber Wow?
The shop is delivered optimised and on hosting with LiteSpeed and NVMe disks, which is what serves the catalogue without starting PHP on every visit. If you expect a large peak, tell us in advance: we review the server plan with you and, if it is needed, we move up a tier or switch to a
VPS before the campaign, not during it.
