Propagation

Redirects

You point the domain at another address, with or without masking. Useful for campaigns and alternative names.

Subdomains

You create blog.yourdomain.pe or shop.yourdomain.pe no limit.

Automatic renewal

It renews itself and we warn you beforehand. Nobody loses their domain to a forgotten date, and the renewal price is the same one you see in the table.

Transfer lock

The domain is locked against unauthorised transfers. You unlock it yourself, from your client area, the day you decide to move it.

Extension suggester

Which one is yours: .pe, .com or something more?

Type the name you have in mind, tell us what you are building and we will say which extension to take first and what it costs a year.

  • The renewal price is the same as registration on these extensions
  • You can pay several years upfront and forget about it
  • Many register two: the local one and the .com, redirecting one to the other

Availability is confirmed by the search box: here we give you the recommendation and the shop's real price, in soles.

The .com.pe costs the same and usually has more names free. If budget is the deciding factor, the .net.pe and the .org.pe are the cheapest in the catalogue: .

The .com.co comes to and it is the one Colombian companies use most. The .co short one looks more like a brand and costs .

Alternatives: .online per and .store per . If the name is free on .com (), it is still the safest bet for selling.

The .app costs the same, but watch out when bringing it from another provider: the transfer comes to . The .io is on .

Alternatives for a personal brand: .soy per and .pro per . All three renew at the same price as registration.

Prices in soles including VAT, per year of service. Name availability is confirmed in the search box; if it is taken, we suggest alternatives.

Bank transfer

We copy your DNS zone before anything moves.

Four steps. The site and the email keep working throughout the move, because we copy your DNS zone before we start.

your current provider A1B2-C3D4-E5F6 copy EPP
STEP 01

Unlock it and request the EPP code

In your current provider's panel you switch off the transfer lock and request the authorisation code. It is a one-time key — also called an auth code — proving the domain is yours.

STEP 02

Start the transfer with us

You pay for one year of transfer and enter the code. That year is added to what you had left: if you had eight months, you end up with twenty. Before we start we copy your DNS zone so the site and the email never notice.

STEP 03

You confirm by email

A message reaches the administrative contact listed in the domain's WHOIS. You approve it and the registry begins the transfer. If that address no longer exists, we update it with you before starting.

STEP 04

It stays in your client area

Between 5 and 7 days for international domains; the .pe follow NIC.PE's rules and are usually faster. Once it is done you manage DNS, renewal and privacy from the same panel as the rest of your services.

Domains .pe transfer under NIC.PE's rules and require no additional transfer payment. Have us do it for you

Pricing

Register, transfer and renew: the three numbers.

On 28 of the 37 extensions all three are identical. Where they are not, the one that spikes is the transfer.

Domains are charged in soles, including when the rest of your cart is in dollars. That is why these amounts carry an asterisk.

Modern, themed and niche. There are over 120 available: if the one you want is not there, ask us and we will quote it.

I had the domain with a provider abroad and never understood the panel. They transferred it and now I request DNS changes on WhatsApp.

I registered the .pe and the .com the same day, along with the hosting. It all arrived pointed and with SSL: I did not have to touch a single record.

I nearly lost the company domain to a missed renewal at another provider. Here they warn me in good time and it renews itself.

Questions

What people ask before registering.

Will you put the price up at renewal?
Yes. There is no teaser price in the first year: the table shows all three figures and on 28 of the 37 extensions they are identical. Where it changes is on bringing the domain across: the .app transfers by even if it renews in . If the registry raises its fee, we tell you before we charge you.
Do I need a tax ID to register a .pe?
Nothing special. The .pe and the .com.pe are open to individuals and companies, Peruvian or foreign: no tax ID or residency required, just valid contact details. The exception is the .edu.pe, reserved for recognised educational institutions, where NIC.PE checks the paperwork before approving it.
How long will I wait if I bring my domain?
Between 5 and 7 days for international domains, counted from when you approve the confirmation email. The .pe follow NIC.PE's rules and are usually faster. Before we start we copy your DNS zone, so the site and the email keep working throughout the process.
What is the EPP code?
It is the authorisation key your current provider gives you to prove the domain is yours. You will also see it called auth code or transfer code. You request it in the provider's panel — usually on the domain's page — and it is single-use: you enter it when starting the transfer with us and it expires. If you cannot find it, write to us and we will tell you where it is at your provider.
If I transfer, do I lose the months I already paid for?
No. The transfer adds a year to the expiry you already had. If you had eight months left, you end up with twenty.
Can I leave the hosting where it is and bring just the domain?
Yes, no problem. You have two routes: change the nameservers to your hosting provider's, or leave the DNS with us and create the A, CNAME, MX and TXT records they ask for there. The same applies in reverse: you can have the domain elsewhere and the hosting or the email with us. Tell us where to point it and we will set it up.
Is .pe or .com.pe right for me?
Technically none: both are Peruvian extensions administered by NIC.PE and cost the same. The .pe is shorter and looks more modern; the .com.pe usually has more names available and reads as a registered company.
With this, do I already have a site and email?
No: the domain is just the name. You add hosting for the site and Google Workspace or Zoho Mail for the email. If you buy everything with us, we leave it connected without you touching the DNS.
If I miss the date, do I lose the domain?
We warn you before expiry and, if you have automatic renewal on, it charges itself. If it expires anyway, there is a grace period to recover it; after that the domain goes back on the market and anyone can take it. That is why we recommend leaving automatic renewal on.
Is the domain in my name or in yours?
Yes. The registrant is your company or you, not Búho. We are the provider through which you manage it, and you can move it wherever you like whenever you like: we give you the EPP code and unlock the domain without charging for it.

Take your name before someone else takes another.

You search, you register and we leave it pointed at your site and your email. With managed DNS and WHOIS privacy included.
